I got an email today from Andy, who, as noted before, came for a brief visit last week. I -- of course -- took him to the Collection de l'Art Brut, which -- of course -- blew his mind. He sent me this picture, which adequately captures what I find to be the single scariest thing I have ever witnessed in a museum anywhere. Nowhere else have I seen a painting that so clearly asks, nay, demands that the viewer lean just a little bit more over the precarious and quickly eroding cliff that marks the edge of sanity.
A look at the daily challenges of living in the exotic land of the Swiss.

I must say, the picture on the current homepage of Art Brut museum is quite possible the most awesome portrait of a man I have ever seen.
Could you please make your blog a bit more accessible to us commonfolk. what does it mean? I don't get it Paul. You got a "getting started" guide for your blog anywhere? need help navigating obscure references.
Ha! The point of this blog is inaccessibility! From now on, only obscure references! Sourdough bread bowl!!!!!!!
